The current list of Groups (in ascending order of access)

  • Guest - no login required, has very restricted access to what they can and cannot do/see
  • Member - the default group - can use most of the forum but not the parts intended for WSF Members
  • WSF Associate - WSF associate members and people we konw well - can see most of the fourm with some limitations on WSF members only stuff
  • WSF Member - Members of WSF - has pretty much full access to all areas of the forum
  • WSF High Council - Members of WSF High Council - has pretty much full access to all areas of the forum
  • Moderators - people who have some limited admin rights in addition to their normal group membership
  • Administrators - people with administrative rights on the forum (technical stuff) in addition to their normal group rights

This area is very much still a work in progress but the idea is you will be able to buy stuff using it and make payments to WSF etc. I am hoping to get some discounts from traders prepared to sell stuff using it - worth a try.

So if you want to buy a hoodie for 100 grand I am sure Andy will be ecstatic but don’t .. as it WILL try to take the payment from you

Tthere are many features here including a discussion area, gallery, file downloads and clubs... I will set up a zoom call to run through the basic features etc once we have enough people signed up.

However the burning question which I just know will keep you awake at night is "wtf are clubs?"

Well think of them as mini forums that could span multiple topic areas (for example the 2ecclesiastical one" or stuff set up which is temporary - show/event organising etc. if any of our guests want one for their own group then its suitable for that too. If there are any clubs you can think of go ahead and submit one. if its not a dumb idea i will set it up and away you go. you get to moderate what’s in it and who and all sorts of shizzle. 


that’s all for now but have fun, play about a bit and if things go to shit click om support and I will have a good laugh at what you have done before (hopefully) fixing it,
